How does GPS attendance work?
Employees open the WorkMate app and tap 'Check In'. The app captures their GPS location and verifies it against configured geofence zones (e.g., your office address). If within range, attendance is marked. Optionally, selfie verification adds another layer of security.
Does WorkMate handle PF, ESI, and TDS calculations?
Yes, fully automated. WorkMate calculates PF (12% employee + 12% employer), ESI (0.75% employee + 3.25% employer for applicable employees), and TDS based on employee tax declarations. Challans are auto-generated for filing.
Can employees apply for leave from their phones?
Yes. Employees download the WorkMate Employee app (Android/iOS). They can apply for leave, view leave balance, check payslips, update personal details, and mark attendance — all from their phone.
How long does onboarding take?
Most companies are live within 48 hours. You import employees from Excel, configure policies with our setup wizard, deploy the employee app, and you're live. Our onboarding team provides hands-on support throughout.
